Pair Clay's enrichment waterfalls with Allegrow's B2B email verification, so every address a waterfall returns gets a conclusive valid or invalid result before it leaves your table.
Allegrow runs as a verification step inside your Clay table, resolving the addresses your waterfall returns, including the catch-all and gateway-fronted domains where most verifiers hand back "unknown" and leave the decision to you.

A waterfall exists because no single provider covers everyone. It returns an address for more of your list, and it returns addresses of mixed provenance: some confirmed, some inferred from a pattern, some carried over from a source that has not been checked in a year. Enrichment tells you an address exists. Verification tells you whether anyone is behind it.
That gap widens on exactly the accounts worth working. Enterprise domains run catch-all and sit behind secure email gateways, so a basic SMTP check accepts every address and a generic verifier returns catch-all, risky or unknown. The contact stays in the table without a decision attached, and the team either drops a real person or sends to an address nobody confirmed.
What you unlock with Clay + Allegrow
To connect Clay with Allegrow you need an active Allegrow subscription, your Allegrow API key, and a Clay plan that includes the HTTP API enrichment, which starts at Explorer. Allegrow runs as an HTTP API column in your table, calling the Validate Email endpoint and writing the result back to the row.
The fastest route is the shared Clay table, which arrives preconfigured and needs only your API key. To build the column yourself:
Connect in a few steps
POST, endpoint https://api.allegrow.co/v1/email/validate, and a body of {"email": "/{your email column}"}.x-api-key, with your Allegrow API key as the value.Note: if your Clay plan does not include the HTTP API enrichment, contact us.
What comes back is a status rather than a score, and the one worth understanding first is dead_email: an invalid contact sitting on a catch-all server. The full status dictionary covers the rest.
Allegrow provides a dedicated Customer Success Manager as your primary point of contact for anything related to the Clay integration, covering setup, best practices, and scaling your workflow safely.
